Claudia Eger

Associate Professor

Claudia Eger is Associate Professor of Business Ethics and Sustainability at the Department of Business Humanities and Law, Copenhagen Business School. Her research centers upon the challenges and complexities of business in society and the ways in which these interrelate with wider questions about ethics, sustainability, and gender. Her work builds on a core concern for various forms of inequality, aiming for both a socially and culturally embedded understanding of inequality and the development of theory that captures and is responsive to these nuances. Her empirical research in different Middle Eastern and African countries addresses concerns of relevance to international organizations and policy makers, striving to inform gender and development strategies. Claudia is on the editorial review board of Business Ethics Quarterly. 

    Tamer Koburtay

    Postdoc

    Tamer Koburtay is a researcher at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in the field of gender, intersectionality and religion. His research addresses issues related to gender practices, leadership, religion, culture and workers’ psychological well-being. Tamer published several research in highly ranked journals such as Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism and many others and also participated in world-class conferences including AOM, EURAM, SWAM and others. Tamer also serves as a reviewer in journals such as the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Personnel Review, and Human Resource Development Review. Currently, Tamer serves as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Community Psychology (JCOP) and the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights (JHTI).


      Ladyane de Souza

      PhD fellow

      Ladyane Souza is a PhD fellow in BHL, focusing on women’s employment in Saudi Arabia. Her research proposes that an intersectional approach can expand women’s workplace access and integration in Danish multinational enterprises. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Citizenship from the University of Brasília (UnB), with a focus on political gender violence. Her master’s thesis, “Gender Political Violence: An Analysis of the Typology Based on the Experience of Brazilian Parliamentarians,” was recognized as the best of the year by the University of Brasília.


        Liela A. Jamjoom

        Assistant Professor

        Liela A. Jamjoom has 8 years of research experience studying women’s leadership in Saudi Arabia. Her research interests lie at the intersection of leadership, women’s development, and Qualitative narrative-based research. Liela holds a PhD in Management from Saint Mary’s University Canada, where her thesis has been awarded the Governor’s General Gold Medal Award and has been published as a book with Routledge Studies in Leadership Research. Liela as a divisional executive at large for the Critical Management Studies Division at the Academy of Management Conference.
